Flora and Fauna
The alpine wildlife present in the area include:
wall lizard (Lacerta muralis), red deer (Cervus elaphus),
brown bear (Ursus arctos), lynx (Lynx lynx), wolf (Canis lupus),
pine marten (Martes martes) and beech marten (Martes foina).
Wall creeper (Tichodroma muraria), three-toed woodpecker (Picoides tridactylus),
rock bunting (Emberiza cia), raven (Crovus corax), capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus),
oral owl (Strix uralensis), golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos),
and great spotted woodpecker (Dendrocops major) can be seen in the park area as well.
